A licensed clinical esthetician with 13+ years of experience in the beauty and wellness industry, Emily began her career in 2011 in medical aesthetics, spending over a decade working alongside plastic surgeons and dermatologists in high-performance clinical environments. That background — rooted in anatomy, skin science, and results-driven care — became the foundation for everything The Sage HeadSpa stands for.

Emily co-founded The Sage HeadSpa alongside master cosmetologist Desarai Mannelly, combining their complementary expertise to build a brand that treats the scalp not as an afterthought of hair care, but as an extension of the skin — deserving of the same clinical attention, professional standards, and elevated experience.

Her approach is intentional and uncompromising: every treatment protocol at Sage is grounded in real-world clinical knowledge of skin health, scalp conditions, anatomy, and client care — never social media trends, never rushed certifications. Every provider across every Sage location is a licensed esthetician or cosmetologist.

Since launching, Emily has scaled The Sage HeadSpa to a seven-figure business, built proprietary treatment frameworks deployed across all U.S. locations, and developed a professional certification and training program teaching other licensed beauty professionals how to launch and grow their own head spa businesses.
